SCIENTIFIC MEDIATION 2022

The Dynamique Du Langage research unit has been involved for several years to share its knowledge and share it with the general public. This moment of sharing and transmission is made via participation in scientific events, recurrent scientific mediation actions such as the science festival, the Pop'Science festival, the day of the DYS, the week of the brain ... and well others.

National Day on learning disabilities

On 8 October, Agnès Witko, Véronique Boulenger, Agathe Marcatsel, Jennifer Krzonowski and three speech therapy trainees held a stand for the 16th National Day on learning disabilities at the Hôtel de Région - Lyon Confluence.

Science Festival

The Dynamique Du Langage laboratory was represented at the Fête de la Science 2022 on 8 October in Lyon and on 15 and 16 October in Tours.

• Karl Seifen and Esteban Defurne helped to run the "Journey to the centre of language" stand with activities on linguistic diversity and where the game [kosmopoliːt] was presented.


• Rémi Anselme presented the RELI project "Chienpo meets the researchers" with Chienpo and the collaboration of Choule a silk-screen printing workshop on different materials.


• Christophe dos Santos and Marianne Latinus led a workshop based on the visualisation of the voice by means of spectrograms entitled "Finding one's voice" at the Hôtel de Ville de Tours.

Round table

As part of the "Preventing inequalities from early childhood" (Agir et innover en Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) Sophie KERN took part on 23 September in a round table on language: "Developing language from the earliest age to reduce inequalities".

Workshop

On 10 September, Sophie KERN led a workshop on foreign language awareness as part of the Oh Monde ! association's Immersion Day.

Francoprovençal

On 27 August, Michel BERT gave a lecture on the new possibilities for teaching Francoprovençal at the 2nd festive and cultural meeting of Francoprovençal organised by the Friends of Francoprovençal in the Pays Lyonnais (AFPL) and supported by the Western Federation of Francoprovençal.

On-board conferences

On 27 August, Florence CHENU had the opportunity to discuss language development and linguistic diversity during boat rides with the public at the fourth edition of the on-board conferences at the Parc de la Tête d'Or.

First Biennial of Languages

The first Language Biennial took place from 19 to 22 May 2022 in the courtyard of the Centre Berthelot. About 800 students came on May 19th and 20th, and about 600 visitors on May 21st and 22nd. Conference on 28 March 2022

Anna GHIMENTON and Michel BERT were invited by the French Institute of Chile to give a presentation on language (auto)/biography entitled: "Language (auto)/biography in a plurilingual context: these forgotten languages, these claimed languages".
This was the opening lecture in a series of lectures on multilingualism aimed at a very wide audience (teachers, politicians, etc.).

Françoise ROSE was invited by the Université Populaire du Val de Drôme (Crest) to give a presentation on linguistic diversity entitled "Discover the 6000 languages of the world".

Colette GRINEVALD et Michel BERT were invited by the Université tous âge (Lyon2) to give a presentation entitled "Disparition des langues: luttes contre l'oubli".
This lecture was given as part of a series of lectures on the theme of oblivion aimed at a senior audience.
