My work is grounded in the context of embodied cognition theories. I focus on how action perception and execution influence language processing.
My current project aims at understanding how the motor system can help the learning of a foreign language using both behavioral and neuroimagery techniques (EEG, fMRI).

TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

2018 - 2019 : teaching and research assistant (CeRCA, CNRS UMR 7295), University of Poitiers, France

2015 - 2018 : PhD student (CeRCA, CNRS UMR 7295), University of Poitiers, France

2014 : European Master's degree in neurocognitive processes and affective sciences, Lille 3 University (France) and University of Minho (Braga)

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Embodied cognition : action-language relationship
Role of the motor system in learning of a foreign language
Role of the characteristics of movements
